We are looking for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer – Tech Lead with a strong technical background and a “get-things-done” attitude who is eager to learn new exciting technologies to join our agile team.
As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer – Tech Lead, you will be part of Scrum squad developing the Vimachem OptimZ Platform. This is a role where you develop new applications from scratch and if this excites you this is the place to be. You will also work closely with the Software Architect and the CTO who are responsible for the architecture and technology stack. Equally important you will be responsible for the training and development of the frontend engineers aiming to improve the team’s performance and to develop a culture of continuous improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities
As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer – Tech Lead you will :
- Create new solutions and see them through, from conception to production
- Turn requirements into simple and sophisticated technological systems. Our large scale, highly available infrastructure is at the core of that challenge
- Design and develop complex front-end web based software applications while demonstrating working knowledge and experience with design patterns
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Research new technologies to find new and efficient ways to solve day to day challenges
- Ship high-value features quickly
- Challenge the status quo and improve the team and product.

Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience or specialized training) in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), Software Engineering, or related discipline.
- Obsession for building and shipping amazing user experiences.
- 6+ years of experience in Front-end focused Software Development (Angular, Bootstrap, JavaScript (ES5 and ES6+))
- 2+years experience with Angular 2+ Framework and Typescript.
- Familiar with web security and internationalization.
- Experience with test-driven development (Jest, Puppeteer, etc.) is strongly preferred.
- Strong experience using responsive web frameworks and CSS.
- Experience with .NET Core and WebAPIis preferred.
- Experience working with large-scale distributed architecture is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex systems and logic to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A thirst for learning and a passion for new technologies, processes and patterns.
- A passion to help engineers develop new skills and advance in their careers.
- A drive to continuously improve both the team and the product.
- High attention to detail, pride yourself on delivering intuitive software that is high quality.
- Excellent problem solving and debugging skills.
