The Opportunity

Vimachem is looking for an experienced “Sales Manager – Food & Beverage Industry” to generate revenue growth in the food & beverage industry.

Key responsibilities:

  • Direct technical sales to clients in mainly the food & beverage industry.
  • Manage all aspects of food & beverage industry sales.
  • Identify new business opportunities and provide proposals on how to develop them.
  • Understand the customer’s need and suggest solutions with our product line.
  • Lead generation and lead follow-up , establish networking relationship with clients and partners in order to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Support marketing activities such as exhibitions and conferences in order to create a positive corporate image, in line with the corporate identity and design guidelines.
  • Experience in structuring business deals with knowledge of different commercial constructs and their use.
  • Customer Service & People Skills.
  • Conduct system demonstrations and oversee acceptance tests on customer’s sites.
  • Identify new business opportunities and provide proposals on how to develop them.
  • Provide information on the competition and about their approach to the marketplace.
  • Provide feedback on new distribution partnerships with new food machinery suppliers.


  • 5+ years of experience in selling machinery for the food & beverage industry.
  • Knowledge of the food packaging processes.
  • Proven record of strong revenue growth and new customer engagement.
  • Success in relationship building with new customers.
  • BS or equivalent technical experience.
  • Solid technical understanding / technical affinity.
  • Excellent knowledge of English language

Required skills:

  • Strong sales skills and ability to strengthen existing and to build new customers and suppliers’ relationships.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects to completion.
  • Good judgment, common sense, and problem-solving skills. Must be able to be flexible and adapt to changes while planning.
  • Solutions-oriented thinker with the ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively.
  • Strong in Microsoft Office Suite programs: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic understanding of databases and IT-Networks a bonus
