Improving Tableting Cycle Time using Digital OEE and SMED for a pharma customer in Poland!

The Vimachem team was recently onsite delivering digital continuous improvement for #Fette tablet presses and #IMA capsule machines, using the #Manufacturing #Analytics and #Overall #Equipment #Effectiveness (#MA&OEE) and #Digital #Changeover #Instructions and #Analytics (#DWI) #modules of the #composable AI-driven Vimachem Pharma MES.

The key challenges our client was facing:

  1. Long and inconsistent changeover times.
  2. No structured or standardized approach to managing changeover.
  3. Unclear root causes of production stops and how to minimize them.
  4. Lack of real-time monitoring for quantities of good vs. rejected products.
  5. Limited real-time visibility into production performance on the shop floor.

The solution:
To solve these challenges, the customer has rolled out Vimachem’s modular, pre-validated, cloud-based Pharma MES platform.
