We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with a systems engineering or software development background and a “get-things-done” attitude who is eager to learn new exciting technologies to join our agile team.

Roles and Responsibilities
As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will :
  • You’ll get to sharpen your skills on the latest tech stack in the areas of DevOps tooling, CI/CD, Containerization, orchestration, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, secure, and highly available software using best in class technologies.
  • Build and operate a highly available Microservices Cloud platform.
  • Establish best practices and build tools to drive the use of CI/CD and the adoption of infrastructure/platform components by engineering teams at Vimachem.
  • Monitor and manage our environments by integrating telemetry and observability into the platform.
  • Maintain best practices around notifications and response processes.
  • Implement DevOps infrastructure components and best practices, working in Azure environments.
  • Deploy CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
Skills and Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience or specialized training) in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), Software Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 4 years of experience developing/maintaining Cloud solutions.
  • Experience in building highly available, scalable, distributed systems in a Microservices based architecture.
  • Experience with at least one of the following cloud providers: Azure, AWS, GCP
  • Strong scripting skills (BASH/Python/Powershell etc.)
  • Proficiency in *nix
  • Experience with Git, Git Flow, Azure DevOps
  • A solid grasp of development, automation, and monitoring tools and practices.
  • Hands-on experience in continuous delivery and continuous integration of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Working knowledge of Containerization, network protocols, encryption, and security.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, verbal communication skills with an ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and innovator.
